HealthActiv is proud to announce that two colleagues, Prishnee Leelah and Roshan Mahabeer, have successfully completed the Medtronic Training Pathway, which is an online training offered by one of our main suppliers, Medtronic, and have been awarded:
Medtronic provides medical education and training that help participants focus on deepening their expertise and improving patient outcomes across the continuum of healthcare.
The dedication of Prishnee and Roshan have shown that success is not always a question of greatness but it is also about consistent and diligent work. They have both covered different courses with several modules and have successfully completed all exams. The courses covered were Wound Closure-Sutures, EMID-Stapling and Access & Instrumentations, and were split into phases:
1. Digital Phase: Self Learning on Human Anatomy and products.
2. Virtual Phase: Online Product Knowledge with Trainer.
3. Application Phase: How to Use Products in Actual Diseased State.
4. Validation Phase: Exams
They both expressed how the training was intense, demanding, challenging and also fun. They surpassed themselves by taking this online training for 11 consecutive weeks, while continuing to fill and implement the tasks of their full-time position as Product Sales Specialist as well as juggling with family life in the current times of the pandemic COVID-19. These aspects demonstrate how extremely ambitious they were and that it took a lot of effort, sacrifice and dedication on their part to achieve their objectives:

Being certified will also help us to provide trainings to others, on the specific products learnt and seeing the name of HealthActiv and the Mauritian flag on top are also part of our pride.”
